First off, let me explain…

WhitLaCo is a play on my name, Whitney Layne Cox.

I am a graphic designer living in Mebane, North Carolina. I am the mother to a dog and two tabby cats. I love plants and own quite a few, though I truly do not know how they’re still thriving. As an extroverted introvert, I can usually be found indoors hibernating, unless the weather is nice. I work part time at a local mushroom farm. I love being out in nature and traveling. Campfire is my favorite smell.

I have over 15 years of experience as a graphic designer in both corporate and small business settings. My background is mostly in e-commerce and the sports industry. I’ve owned and helped manage small businesses. I’ve also spent years with odd jobs including, virtual assisting, mushroom farming, and professional dog walker and pet care provider.
